Flow Yoga - All Levels Welcome
Flow yoga is a practice where we move from one posture into another, following the breath. This continuous flow of movement and breath generates a meditative state, encouraging practitioners to let go of thought and focus on experience of the present moment. In flow yoga, each movement into or out of a posture is timed with an inhalation or an exhalation in a choreographed sequence. The flowing movements are combined with some longer holds of certain postures, giving you time to focus on alignment and technique. The class begins with gentler movements to warm up the body, then move into progressively more active flowing sequences. These include standing poses, standing balances, inversions and peak poses, all levels are offered and preparations postures or alternative postures are given if a pose if not appropriate for you. The classes always end with slower, deeper stretches, and lots of floor-based postures, sometimes incorporating yoga props. All levels are welcome, beginners to advanced students are catered for.
Chakra Balancing Yoga - A mix of slow and active classes depending on the Chakra - All Levels Welcome
Flow Style of yoga but with a focus on each of the sevens chakras. According to yoga tradition, the subtle body is a part of you that you can’t see or touch—it’s where your energy flows, which is why it’s also referred to as the energy body. There are seven key points in the subtle body that are thought to be vortexes of energy, known as chakras. When energy becomes blocked in a chakra or wheel of energy, it triggers physical, mental, or emotional imbalances that manifest in symptoms such as anxiety, lethargy, or poor digestion. When a chakra, or wheel of energy is blocked, a well-tuned yoga practice may be helpful to release the prana (energy) through movement. Yoga postures are a great way to release stale or stuck energy from the body because they invite fresh, vital energy back in through poses and the breath. The yoga postures will be specifically chosen for each Chakra from one to seven. No need to start at one and if you miss a week it doesn't matter just come along. Variations and modifications are taught to individualise the practice for each student, making it ideal for many levels of practitioner. Some prior experience with Vinyasa Flow Yoga is recommended, ideally three to four Slow Flow Yoga classes before moving on to a Chakra Flow Yoga class.

Yang Yin Yoga - All Levels
Yang, the masculine principle: light, active, outward and upward moving, hot, retrospective. Yang yoga is the more traditional Flow based asana practice that develops muscular strength, stamina, and flexibility. Yin, the feminine principle: dark, passive, receptive, reflective, withdrawn, cool, introspective. Yin yoga was developed to penetrate deep into connective tissue expanding flexibility and aiding healing while stimulating the nadis or meridians to loosen energetic blockages and increase energy flow. Variations and modifications are taught to individualise the practice for each student, making it ideal for many levels of practitioner. This class is great for those with very little experience but expect to move for the first half of the class as you would in Flow Yoga classes.
Yin Yang Yoga - All Levels
Yin Yang Yoga For a balanced yoga practice, we need both Yin & Yang, combining these two elements provides a balanced energy for body, mind & soul. Beginning with some Yin poses can be a good way to start your day when energy levels are lowest, to calm the mind and work on the joints before the muscles are warm. By practising Yin first, we can carry over this very mindful way of moving into our dynamic Yang flow getting you ready for your day. “The practice of yin/yang yoga helps us learn about stillness in movement and the flow in stillness” Sarah Powers”
